WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anahrim did receive a verified Petition for Variance from

Ar.ah2im, County o: Orange, 5tate of California, deacxibed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
referred to herein as though set forth ir full

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at ihe City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
August 28, 1°E>7, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by
lew and in accordance withthe provisions of the An~heim Alunicipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence for
and ageinst said proposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigstion, and study mede by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration oE a11 evidence and reports offeredat said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
~ 1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim Municipel Code to permit the subdivision
of Port:nn ~!o, 2 into a 16-lot R-3 subdivision development;

of a substartial oroperty right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone,
and denied to the oroperty in question.

7, Tnat 4 persons appeared representing approximately 1C0 persons present in the Council
ChanibAr, one of whom presented a petition signed by 298 property ovmers, all in opposition to
suhject petition.
