PC 67-205RESOLUTION NO PC67-205 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMIS9IOON OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. f~ HE GRANTED WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission oE the City of Aneheim did receive e verified Petition for Variencc f_om ANAHEIM N~FJ~!ORIAL HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION, INCQRPORATED, 1111 West La Palma Avenue, Anahei~ny California, Owner of certain real oroperty situated in the City of Anaheim9 County of Orang~e, Sta~e of California, described as Lot Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Tract Noo 1691 g ~-~ ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Ha11 in the City of Aneheim on S e?t emb er 13 S 196', et' 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given es required by law end in ecrnrdence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear end consider evidence for end ugainst said proposed veriance and to investigate end meke findings end recommendations in connec- tion therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behelf, and after due consideration of a!] evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the following fects: 1. That the petitioner requests e verience from the Anaheim Municipal Code: S ection 18,24, C10( 1; Permitted Uses - to oermit establishment of an automobile oarE:ing l.ot and a portion o.° the oropo=a' hospitzl expansion on sublact prooerty. - 2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions appliceble to the property involved or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or cless of use in the same vicinity and zone. ~ 3. That the requested variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right ~ possessed by other propercy in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 4. That the requested variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the prup- erty or improvements in such vicinitv and zone in which the property is loceted. 5. That no one aopeareo in opposition to subject petition. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of 15~ per front foot along Lombard Drive and La Palma Avenue for tree planting purposes. 3. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2000 per front foot along Lombard Drive and La Paima Avem~e, `or street lighting purposes. 4. That parking areas sha11 be lighted witn down-lighting a maximum of 6-feet in height and shall be directed away from the property lines to protect the re=idential integrity of the area. 5. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, and 3, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the time that the Bui!ding Permit is issued or within a period of 180 ciays from date hereof, which- ever occurs first, or such further time as the Commission or City Council may grant. 6. That all existing driveway approaches alor,q Lombard Drive shatl be removed and standard curb and gutter installed as required by the City Engineer and in accordance ;vith standard plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. 7, That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and speci:ications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No. 1~ 8, That Condition Nos. 4 and 6, above mentioned, shall be complied witti prior to final builaing and zoning inspections.
