APPROVAL OF fi}(HIBIT "D" FOR GENERAL PLAN AbiENDI~;ENf AIO„ 31.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by R.esolution
No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses within the City anJ
indicating thc present belief of the Council as to possible :uture development and re-
development of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City o: Anaheim did receive a verified
Petition for Reclassification No. 67-68-70, which petition has implications on policies as
e:<pressed on said General Plan; ar.d
WHEREAS, in addition the notice of hearing on said Reclassification, notice was also
uiven regarding the consideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the general location
and vicinity of subject property of said Reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at ~.he City Hall in
the City of Anaheim, on the 9th day of Aoril, 1968, at 7:30 o'clock P.h~., notice of said
public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the pro-
visions of the Anaheim hlunicipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said
Amendment to the General Plan, and said proposed Petition for Reclassification to investigate
and mal<e :indings and recommendations in cortnection therewith; and
VJHEREAS, the City Planning Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study
made by itself and in its behalf and 2fter due consideration of all evidence and *EDOZ'ts
offered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIIJD
1. The evidence was oresented at said hearing •srhich justi;ies the C;ty Glanning
Commission's recommending to the City Council a chanqe in the oresent qeneral
description and extent of land uses in the area as :ollows: ~
Bounded on the north by Ball Road, on the east by the extension of Sunkist
~: Street, on the south by a line approximately 660 feet south o` Ba]? Road,
~ an~ on tne west by State College Boulevard.

2. That Exnibits "A" and "B" of the previous r.onsideration of General Plan
Amendment ~lo. 31 were recommended for disapproval by the Planning Commission
Seotember 14, 1964 in Resolution No. 1326. Series 1964-65, and disaporoved
by the City Council October 20, 1964, in Resolution n1o. o4R-770.
3. That Exhibit "D" of the readvertised General P1an Amendment No. 31 does
constitute an acceptable altern~tive to current policies as illustrated on
the General P1an.
4. That two persons, reoresenting industries immediately to the south o: lNinston
Road, and a represent2tive of the Industrial Development Division of the Chamber
of Commerce aopeared in oooosition to the extension of residential uses to
Winston Road tivithin the southeast industrial area, and that two oersons ra-
presenting several adjoinina orooerty owners appeared in favor of ined~um uensity
as depicted on the exhibits.

NOW, THEREFl~RE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of P.naheim
doe~ hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Coun~il's action
in Resolution No. 64R-770 dated October 20, 1964, be rescinded and that subject Genera:i
Plan Amendment No. 31 be ap~oved on the basis of the foregoing findings in accordance
with Exhibit "D".
THE FqREGOING RESOLUTION is sioned and approved by me this 18th day of April, 1968.
