N(V.~ ,I yu~ I~ • ' + ~i ~ ~ J r~ '~y~~ ~`;;~, ~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General P1an by Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses within the City and indicating the oresent belief of the Counci,l as to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and 4YHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a veri=ied Petition for Reclassification No. 67-68-72, which petition has implications on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and WHEREAS, in addition to the notice of the hearing o~ said reclassification, notice was also given regarding ihe consideration of an emendment to the Gene:al Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject oroperty of said reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing in the City Hall ~n the City of Anaheim on April 22, 1968, at 2:00 0'clock P,M., notice of said oublic nearing having bee7 duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Mu;iicipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said Amendment to the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Reclassification to investigate and m~ke findinqs and recommendations in connection therewitn; and WHEREAS, said Commission after ~ue insoection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its benalf and a:ter due consideration of all evidence and reoorts offered at said 'nearing, DOES HERF~Y FI;~ID 1. That the present general description and extent of land uses in the aforementioned area adequately represents oast and current City policies regarding possible future develooment of said general ;;rea described as: That area oenerally bounded on the north by the Orange County Flood Control District Channel,on the south by Orange Avenue, on the ~est by Dale Strc~et, and on the east by a point aopro>;imately 166 feet west of Shields Drive. 2. That no evidence was presented at said hearing which would justify the City Planning Commission recommendin9 a change in the above mentioned oolicies to the City Council. 3. That Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendrc~ent No. 100 does not constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General Plan. 4.
