PC 68-122RESOLUTION N0. 4 ~ , ~ ~, PC68-122 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USF_ pERMIT N0. 1024 gE GRANTED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Conditional Use Pennitfrom WILLIAM AND MARGARET SANGSTER and LONNIE AMD MARY DUNN~ 2019 South Ritchey Street, Santa Ana, California 92705, Owners of certair real p:operty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as the Northerly 100,00 feet, measured along the Easterly line, of that portion of Lot 2 of Tract No. 71, as shown on a~+lap thereof recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County. Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 3 of said Tract No. 71, said Southwest corner also being the East Quarter Section corner of S ection 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ma, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County; thence along the Southerly line of said Lot 3, North 89° 59` 00" East 275.00 feet; thence South 0° O1' 00" East 280.00 feet to the true point of beginning;thence continuing South 0° 1' 00" East 287.04 feet to the Southerly iine of the Northerly 567.04 :eet of said Lot 2; thence Westerly along said Southerly line to the center line of State College Boulevard, formerly Placentia Avenue, as described in deed to the County of Orange, recorded March 22, 1920 in Book 358, page 19 of Deeds, records of said County; thence Northerly along said center line to a line that is oarallel with the Northerly line of said Lot 2 and passes through the true point o: beginning; thence Easterly along said last mentioned parallel line to the true point of beginnina ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on May 6, 1968, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heering having been duly given as required by lew and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chapter 18.64, to hear end consider e~~idence for and agair.st said proposed conditional use and to investigate and m ake findings and recommendetions in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditional Use Permit is authorized by Code Section 18.64.020(2-c) to wit: establish a two-story, 34-unit motel on subject orooerty located in the M-1, Zone. 2. That the proposed use will not adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located. 3. That the size and shape of the site proposed ior the use is adequate to allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimentai to the particular area nor to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of !he Citizens of the City of Anaheim. 4. That the granting of the Conditional Use Pecmit under the conditions imposed, if any, will not be detrimental t.i: the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim. 5. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot along State College Boulevard, fcr street lighting purposes. 2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of 15¢ per front foot along State College Boulevard, for tree planting purposes. 3. 1'hat a Parcel Map to record the approved division o; subject property be submitted to the City of Anaheim for approval and then be recorded in the office of the Orange County Recordes 4. That the sidewalks and driveways shall be installed along State Collec~e Boulevard, as required bx the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file - in the office of the City Engineer, 5. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file with the office of the Director of Public Works. 6. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the ~hief of the Fire Deoartment. ~• That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall be properly shielded from view and the sound shall be buffered from adjacent residential homes. ~';,I 8, That all exterior lighting sha11 be directed downward and away from abutting property lines. ; 9. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, and 3, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the time that the Building Permit is issued or ~~ithin a period of 180 days from date hereof, which- ever occurs first, or such further time as the Commission or City Council may grant. ; 10. That Condition Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, above mentioned, sha11 be complied with orior ; to final building and zoning inspections. ~ llo That subject oroperty shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim~ provided, however, that a maximum of 10% of the proposed units mzy be equipped with kitchen facilities. ~' 12.
