PC68-143 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AIJAHEIM RECOiLVv;cNDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0'r ANAHEIM THAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 99 BE APPROVED ;~ ` i, \, . ~ '~ ~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the Council as to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission ef the City of Hnaheim did receive ~ °^'~`:~ verified Petition for Reclassification No. 67-68-87, which petition has implications ~ on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and ' WHEt~EAS, in addition to the notice of the hearing on said Reclassificatiun, notice was also given regarding the consideration o: an amendment to the General Plan in the 9eneral location and vicinity of subject property of said Reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Plannin9 Commission did 'nold a public hearing in the ~ity Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Pviay 20, 1968 at 2:00 o'clock P.;~i., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordanr,e with the provisions of the Anaheim ~tiiunicipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and ~yainst said Amendment to the General ?lan and said proposed Petition for Reclassification to investigate and inake findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and WHcREAS, said Commission after due inspection, ~nvestigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, DOcS HEREBY FIND 1. That evidence was presented at said hFaring which justifies tne City Planning Commission's recommending to the City Council a cnange in the present general description and extent o: land uses in the area as follows: Bounded on the south by Lincoln Avenue, on the north by Savanna Hig:: Sc ;oul, ori tiie west by Magnolia Avenue, and on the east _ generally west of Gilbert Street. - 2. That cxhibit "A" of General ?lan Amendment No. 99 does constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General P1an. NOW, THEREFORE, Bc IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of Ar.aheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject General Plan Amendment be approved on the basis of the aforementioned fir,dings, and in accordance with Er,nioit "A", TH~ FOREGOIIJG RESOLUTION is signed and approveci by me this 31st da ' ~aia ~, 1968.
