PC68-167 i,.,.:sf~i'~ .,~ r ~ I i J ' ~ ~I t; ,~ - - .~. . i s ~~ ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANUING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF A1vAHEIM RECOMMENDIIdG TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RNAHEI~~ THAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 103 BE APPROVED WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the general descriptiun and extent of land uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the Council as to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and ! WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did initiate a verified Petii:ion for Reclassification IJo. 67-68-96, which petition has i,;;plications on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and WHEREAS, in addition to the notice of the hearing on said reclassification, notice evas also given regarding the cor~sideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject property of said reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on Ju~e 3, 1968, at 7~30 o'clock P,M., notice of said public hearing having been duly gi~en as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said Amendment to the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Reclassification to inves- tigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND 1. That evidence was preser,ted at said hearing which justifies the City Planning Commission's recommending to the City Council a change in.the present general description and extent o: land uses in the area as follows: bounded on the west by a ooint aoproximatel! 27~ :e2t east of ti~e centerline of Brookhurst Street; on the north by a line approximately 165 feet north of the centerline of Katella Avenue; on the east by Dallas ilrive; and on the south by Katella Avenue. 2. That Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 103 does constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning ~~ommission of the City of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject General Plan Amendment be approved on the basis of the aforementioned findings, and in accordance with Exhibit "ti".
