Th~t tbe ?lanning Commission pr.oposes a reclassification of the above described oroperty from the R-1, One Family Residential, Zone to the C-1, General Commercial, Zone. 2. That the scope of the proposed reclassification, if approved, does not warrant an amendment to the General Plan at the present time, however, its relationship to the General Plan symbol will be considered at the next annual re~~iew. 3. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and~or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community. 4. That no evidence was submitted to justify any land use change in this area, since the properties in close proximity have been used primarily for ras;~to„+;~i .. except for the parcel to ±he east of subject property. T^^^ 5. That the Commission finds that after considerable testimor together with a field inspection of the pr.operty, that the size anc even after ultimate dedication makes them suitable for residential RD -1- `~a NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject Petition for Reclassification be denied on the basis of the aforemer,tioned findings.
