A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1989 gE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Variance from
JENNIE L. DINKLER, 8262 Rio Vista, Anaheim, California 92806, Owner; HAROLD L. RAAB, 14482 Beach
Boulevard, Suite I, Westminster, California 92683, Agent of certain *eal property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
~ and referred to herein as though set forth in full.
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
' June 17, 1968~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given as required by
law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence for
and against said proposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
~t'HEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports otfered at said hearing, does find and determine the fo 1

1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Anaheim Municipat Code as follows, to permit the
development of homes with increased lot coverage and reduced front yard setbacks on subject
property.
SE_GTION 18.26.050(3) - Maximum lot coveracae. (A maximum of 40% permitted; 4~
proposed).
SECTION 18.26.050(5-a-3) - Minimurr. front vard setback for qaraqes ooenina onto a street.
(A minimum of 20 feet required; 14.5 feet proposed).
2. That there are no exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable
to the property involved or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to
the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
3. That the requested variance is not necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a
substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and denied
to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance will be materially detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is
located.
5. That two persons appeared representing 14 persons present in the Council Chamber all
in opposition to subject petition.

Petition Eor Variance on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
