RESOLUTION N0. PC68-188
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING ~MMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REINSTATING VARIANCE N0. 1898, AND THE DELETION OF CONDITIONS
APPROVING SAID PEI'ITION, THERETO
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission on July 17, 1967, in Resolution No. 67-162
granted Variance No. 1898 subject to conditions, two of which required payment of street
light and street tr.ee f ees; and
~~T WHEREAS, the petitioner on February 3, 1968, submitted a letter to the Planning
'"~~ "' Commission requesting termination of said variance on the basis that the cost of ineeting
~:~~ ~~ conditions would be more than the cost of the proposed improvement, and he could not
,~~ ~ afford i_h75 expense at the present time; and
€~" WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on February 14, 1968, in Resolut~on No. PC68-47,
~: terminated all proceedings on Variance No. 1898 as requested; and
_ WHEREAS, when the City Council revievred action by the Planning Commission on March 5,
1968, at the recommendation of the City Manager, referred subject petition back to tne
Planning Commission for further consideration on the basis that the recommended conditions
in the estimation of the City Council were excessive for the nature of the request; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Planning Commission that two of the conditions
of Resolution No. 67-162 may be deleted and the original resolution reinstated and become
active again.
' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of
;, Anaheim does hereby reinstate Vaxiance No. 1898, and further deletes Condition Nos. 3 ar.d
2 of Resolution No. PC67-162, dated July 17, 1967 on the basis that the recommended
conditions were in excess of that necessary to approve the proposed waivers.
