Section 18.63.040 b), to permit the replacement and expansion of an existing billboard, '
with waivers ofi,.
SECTION 18,63.050(e) - Maximum permitted displav areao (300 spuare feet
permitted; 768 sauare feet proposed).
2. That no evidence was submitted that would substantiate approval of subject
petition by permittir~ a billboard more than twice the display area permitted by Code.
3. That granting subject petition wouid estabiish an undesirable precedent for
similar requests for the remaining 49 billboards located at appropriate sites as a
matter of right.
4. That the inciusion of a conditional use permit to allow for the increase of
the size of the display area was incorporated in the Ordinance in order to grant larger
billhoards where it appeared they would not harm the appearance or investment potential
of the sur.rounding area; therefore, these situations must be truly unique before favor-
able consideration is given.
5. That the proposed use will adversely aff ect the adjoining land uses and the
growth end development of the area, and would be detrimental to the peace, health,
safety, and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.

NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby deny subject
Petition for Conditional Use Permit on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
