of:
SECTION 18.63.050(e) - Maximum oermitted disolav area. (300 s uare f eet
permitted; 768 sQUare f eet proposed .
SECTION 18.63.050(c) ~ Maximum nermitted heiaht. (27 feet within 300 feet
of a residential structure permitted; 34 feet within
• 75 f eet of a residential structure proposed).
2. That no evidence was su6mittEd that would substantiate approval.of subject
peti,tion by permitting a billboard more than twice the display area and more than ~he
maximum height .in close proximity.to residential structures as required by Code.
3. That gran.ting subject petition would establish an undesirable precedent for
.similar.requests f.or the remaining 49 billboards located at appropriate sites as a matter~
of right, ihereby destroy;~~g the aesthetics which have been established and are being
established f.or a more attractive city.
4. That the inclusion of a.conditional use pesmit in the Ordinance to allow for
the increase of.the size of the display area of a billboard was provided in order to
~grant .larger billboards where.it appeared they would not harm the appearance or in-
vestment potential of the surr.ounding area; ther efore, these situations must be truly
unique before.favorable consideration is given.
5. That.the proposed use will adversely aff ect the adjoining land uses and the
growtn and development.of the area, and woulc3 be detrimental to the peace, health,
saf ~ty, and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
