2. That no evidence was.submitted that would substantiate approval of ,subject
petition by permitt',q a billbaard more than twice the display area as required by
Code.
3. That granting subject petition would establish an undesirable precedent for
similar requests for the remaining 49 billboards located at appropriate sites as a
matter of xight, thereby destroying the aesthetics which have been established and
are being estabiished for a more attractive city.
4. That the inclusion of a conditional use oermit in the Ordinance to allow
fnr the increase.of the size of the display area.of a billboard was provided in
order to grant larger billboards where it appeared they would not harm the appearance
or investment potential of the surrounding area; therefore, these situations must be
truly unique before favorable consideration is given.
5. That the proposed use wili adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the
' growth and development of the area, and would be detrimental to the peace, health,
safety, and general welfare of the ~itizens of the City of Anaheim.
