A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REC~MMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENi N0. 111 BE APPROVED
WHER£AS, the City Council of the Citv of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by
Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the ge~~~ral description and extent of land uses
within the City and indicating the prasF~t belief of the Council as to possible
future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and
`'' '. ~a' WHERfJ1S, the City Planning Comrrission of the City of Anaheim did receive a
~ verified Petition for Reclassification No. 68-69-38, which petition has implications

~~ on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and
i WHEREAS, in addition to the notice of the hearing on said Reclassification,
_ notice was also given regarding the consideration of an amendment to the General
Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject property of said Reclassification;
and
_ WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission bid hoid two public hearings at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, on October 21, and November 4, 1968, at 2:00 0'clock
P.M.~ notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and
in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider
evidence for and aaainst said amendment to the General Pian, and said proposed
Petition for Reciassification, to investigate and make findings and recommendations
in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made
~ by itself an~ i.n its behalf, and aftPr due consideration of a11 av~;ence and reports
f, i offered at said hearing, DOES HER£BY FIND
' 1. That evidence was presented at said hearing which justifies the City Planning
Commission's recommending to the City Council a change in the present general
~i description and extent of land uses in the area as followss bounded on
~ the north by Crowther Avenue; on the east by Kraemer Boulevaxd (Dowling
~~ Avenue); on the south by Qrangethorpe Avenue; and on the west by the City
of Placentia city limits.
2. That Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 111 does constitute an
acceptable aiternative to current policies as iilustrated on the General
Plan.
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that
subject General Plan Amendment be approved on the basis of the aforementioned find~ngs,
and in accordance with Exhibit "A".
THE FOR~EGOING R£SOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 14th day of November,
1968.
