~` WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Nall in the City of Anaheim
on NovembeT 4~ 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P,1yL~ notice of seid public hearing having been duly given es required
by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence for snd against said proposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commissinn, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself end in its behalf,
and after due consideretion of all evidence and reports offeredat said hearing, does find and determine the following
fects:
1. Thet the petitloner requests a varience from the Anaheim Municipal Code as follows, to peTmit the
internal redesiqn of the existing structure to permit one additional unit, thereby requiring an
additional parking space:

2. That there ate exceptional or extraotdinary circumstances or conditions epplicable to the property involved

and zone.
3. That the requested variance is necessary fot the pceservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other propetty in the seme vicinity and zone, end denied to the ptoperty in question.
4. That the requested variance will not be materielly detrimental to the public welfare or Irtjurious to the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity end zone in which the property is located.
5. That one person appeared in opposition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commissiort does hereby grant subject
Petition Eor Variance, upon the fcllowing conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in or~er to presecve the sefety and general welfare ofthe Citizens ofthe City of
Anaheim. 1. That the owners of sub'ect
$25.00 per dwelling unit to he construc±ed, toabe usedtforhparktandfrecreationhpurposes,
said amount to be pa3d at the time the Building Permit is issued.
2. I'hat trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file
with the office of the Director of Public Works.
3. That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall. be properly shielded from view,
and the sound shall be buff ered from adjacent residential homes.
4. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior
to final building and zoning inspections.
5. That sub3ect property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans
and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit.Nos. 1 and 2.
