A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2028 gg APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Variance from

of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as the North 449.00 feet of Lot 8
of Townsend's Subclivision, as per map recorded in Book 5 Page 40 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County. Except that
portion thereof lyinq westerly of the
East .line of the West 1.999 acres of said Lot 8, measured from the centerline ot the raad ad-
joining said lot on the south. Said land is included within the area shown on a map filed in the

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the Citp Ha11 in the City of Anaheim on
November 18, 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock p.M., notice of said public hearin havin been dul
y given as required by
law and in accordance wiu t}~e provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence for
and against said proposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspection, investigetion, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered dt seid hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim Municipal Code as follows~ to permit the
subdivision of subject property with lots less than the minimum lot area and lot width:

to the property involved or to the intend~d use of the property that do not apply generally
to the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zoneo
3. That the requested variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a
substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and
denied to the property in question.
4• 1'hat the requested variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare
or injurious to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property
is located.
5. That a telegram was received in opposition to waiver of minimum lot area and width.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby grant subject
Petition for Variance, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens oE the City of
Anaheim.
1. That this variance is granted subject to the completion of Reclassification
No. 68-59-41.
