WH~~, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim previously considered
- Area Development Plan No. 45 under Planning Study 45-114-4 to assure adequate vehicular
„~^~" ~:'~ circulation to and threugh ail vacant properties within the study area; and

WHEREAS, upon receipt of Petition for Reclass~fication No. 68-69-29, said Area
.~' Development Plan was revised to review and assure propPr vehicular circulation within
;f' the d efined study area; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
in the City of Anaheim on November 18, 1968, at 7:30 0' clock P~Mo~ notice of said
public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the
1~ provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against
, said Area Development Plan as it pertained to the aforementioned reclassification; and

WHEREAS, said Commission aft~r due inspection, investigation, and study made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due considerationofall evidence and reports offered
at saa.d hearing, DOES HER~BY FIND
1. That land uses within the study area are Comprised of an R-1, One Family
Residential

utilizing a single street for access to and from Sunkist Street.
4. That when Tract No. 4030 was developed easterly of the vacant property at

proposed location of the Orange Freeway off-ramp to Ball Road.
~~ 5. That as a r~esult of the proposed development of the aforementioned vacant
pr.o~erty under Reclassification No. 68-69-29, it was deemed desirable to
continue Hilda Street from its present stub and westerly to 5unkist Street
to provide.an additional vehicular outlet from the existing single-family
._ areas encompassed in the 176 R-1 lots, regardless of the land use proposed
under the reclassification.
~ 6. That 8 persons appeared representing approximately 75 persons present in
,.~ the Council Chamber in opposition to the extension of said street.

. ~~:: NOW, THERF..~RE, BE IT RF.SOLVED that the City Pianning Commission of the City of
Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Area
Development Plan No. 45, Exhibit "A" be approved on basis that additional vehicular
circulation is deemed necessary from the single family tracts easterly of Sunkist
Str eet.
