A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 196_ 1___ gg GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Varience
from GIBSON GREETING CARDS, INCn4P0~ATED, 1500 South Anaheim Boul.evard, Anaheim, California 92805,
Owner; C. A. EWALL, P~0„ Box 3004, An~heim, California 92803Y Agent of certain reai property
sit.uated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto ar.d referred to herein as though set f'orth in fuii
; and
~VHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did f.old a public hearing at the City Hall in the City oE Anaheim
on PAarch 25, 1968y at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required
by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Ar:aheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
LUHEREAS, said Commissinn, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered a~! said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1• Thet the petitioner requests a variance from the Anaheim Municipal Code: Section 18.52.060(2-a-1-b)
Minimum required setbacl: (10 feet required; 0=~~t rn•ono=~~?1.
2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intended use oE the property that do not apply generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance will not be materially detrimentel to the public welfare or injurious to the prop-
eaty or irnprovements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located.

NOW, THEREF(1RE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Plenning Commissiou does hereby grant subject
Petition for Veriance, upon the following conditions which ere hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to fhe pro-
posed use of the subject property in order to pceserve the safety and generel welfere of the Citizens oE the City of
Aneheim:
1. That any landscaped areas in the parking area shall be prote~,ted with 6-incl: high
concrete curbs, prioz• to final building and zoning inspections.
2. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with olans
and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No. 1.
