2. That the proposed use ~n~ill ad~-ersely a`fect the adjoining land uses and the
growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
3. That the character of the area has not changed to warrant consideration of
other than industrial develDpment on the property.
4. That the proposed land use change would adversely affect any potentiai in-
dustrial uses being e=tabl.ished in close proximity, because historically, residential
and industriai uses are not compatible, due to the noises, dust, odors, and heavy truck
tra:fic aff ectinq residential uses.
5. That the industrial development which has ta~:en place in the area should be
afforded the same protection from undesirable and incornpatible uses that the City grants
to residential u==s, thus residential encroachment into the industrial area should be
discouraged.
6. That a letter from the City of Placentia was received recommending that the
inteyrity of tne area should be maintained for industrial purposes:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject Petition for Reclassification be denied on the basis of the
aforementioned findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me thi 18th day of April, 1968.
