PC 68-97RESOLUTION N0, p~68•-97 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMI3SION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 6~"68-09 BE APPROVED ~ , WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission oF the City of Anaheim did recelve a verified Petition for Reclassifica- tion from ALAN R. AND MARJORIE TALT~ HERBF}?T S, AND SHIRLEY W. BOTSFORD~ AND MARVIN AND LUANA FLUEGGE, Wilshire Flower Building, 615 :~outh Flower Street, Suite 806, Los Angeles, C3lifornia 90017, Owners; ROBERT S. MCMICHAEL, 469 "A" West Valencia Drive, Fullerton, California 92632, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of ~alifornia, described as that portion of the south half of Lotsl and 6 of Townsend's Subdivisior as per map recorded in book 5, page 40 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, lying northwesterly of the northwesterly line of the land described in the Final Order of Condemnation, rendered in Case No. 73603, in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the county of Orange, a cartifi?d copy of which was recorded June 9, 1960 in book 5280 page 150 of Official Records ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning ComR~ission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on J' April 8~ i968y at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by - law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed reclessification end to investigate and make findings and recomm endetions in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself end in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence end reports offered et said hearing, does find end determine the following fects: 1. That the petitioner proposes a reclassificetion of the above described property from the R-A, Agricultural, Zone to the R-3, Multiole Famiiy Residential, Zone to establish a 35-unit apartment complex on subject property. 2. That tt~ scope of the proposed reclassification, ii approved, does not warrant an am?ndment to the General P1an at the present time, however, its relationship to the General Pian symbo! will be considered at the next annual review. , ~ . That the proposed reclassification of subject property does properly relate to the zones and their permitted uses locally esteblished in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally esteb- lished throughout the community. 5. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width, from the centerline of the street, along Eu:lid Street, for street widening purposes. 2. That street improvement plans .shall be prepared and all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim aiong Euciid Street, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be comoleted as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the offi;:i of the City Engineer; and that a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheini shall be pos±ed with the City to guarantee the :nstallation of said engineering requirements. 3. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum o: $2.00 per front foot alor,g Euclid St=eet, for street lighting purposes. 4. That the owners of subject property shiall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of 15~ per front foot along Euclid Street, for tree planting purposes. 5. That the owners of subject property shall pay to th~ City of Anaheirn the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the Building Permit is issued. 6. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, above mentioned, shall be complied with ~vithin a period of 180 days from the date hereof, or such further time as the City Councii may grant.
