' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING C01lyISSION OF THE ClTY OF ANAHEIM f P.ECOMYENDIN~'f0 THE CI'fY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PE`~'ITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO ~ 69-70-11 BE APPROVED WHEREAS, the City Ptanning Commission of the City oE Aneheim did initiate a verified Petition for Reclassification on certain real ~roperty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of ,~ Orange, State of California, described as the East 150 feet of the West 242 feet of the ~ North 170 feet of the South 200 feet of the South half of the Southavest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range 11 'Nest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a map recorded in Bouk 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county. 'Excepting that portion conveyed to the State of California recorded August 23, 1951 in Book 2220, page 426 of Official Records oF said ~ounty. Thatthe Commission proposes a reclassification of the above described properLy from the R-A, Agricultural, Zone to the C-1, General Commercial, Zone to place an existing service station into the most appropriate zone. 2. That the scope of the proposed reclassification, ii approved, does not warrant an amendment to the General Plan at the oresPnt time, however, its relationship to the General Plan symbol will be considered at the next annual review. 3. Tha+ the proposed reclassification oi subject property is ner,essar.y and~or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the communi±y. 4. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does properly relate to the zones and their permitted uses !e~ally established in close proximity to sub,ject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally established throughout the community. 5. That s~abject property is a parcel originally deleted from reclassification of many R-A parcels by the Commission several years ago, o~ the assumption that its location on Beach Boulevard we:•uld war.rant Commercial Recreation Zoning. However, tYie General Plan - 1~69 does not now designate thi.s area for C-R Zoning, and therefore C-1 zoning is most appropriate.
