WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a veritied Petition Eor Conditional

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Californ?a, described as that
portion of the East 10 acres of tt~e South half of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 14, Ton•nship ~ South, Range li West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per
map recorded in book 5i, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, rer,ords of said O:ange County.

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City o( Anaheim on
September 22, 1969, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given Es required hy
law and in acrnrdence with the provisions oi the A~~;:neim Municipel code, Cha~ter 18.64, to hear ¢nd consider evidence
for and agair.st said proposed conditionel use and to investigate and moke findings ond recommendations in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, s~id Commission, at:er due inspection, investigation, end study mede by itself and in its behalf, and
atter due consideration of nll evidence end reports offered at said hearinQ, doec Eind and determine the following facts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditional Use Permit is authorized by Code
Section 18.64.020(3-mj to wit: establish light mental hospital facilities in conjunction
with an existing convalescent hospital on subject property.
2. That the proposed use will not edversely affect the adjoining land uses end the growth end developmrnt of
the erea in which itis proposed to be located.
3. That the size and shape of the site proposed (or the use is edequete to epow the full development of the
proposed use in a menner not detrimental to the particuler area nor to the peace, health, satety, and general welfare of
the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
4. That the gcanting ot the Conditional Use Pefmit under the eonditions imposed, if nny, will not be detrimenta!
to the peace, hcolth, sa:ety, and gmieral welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.

NOW, THEREFORE, $E 1T RESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Plenning Commission does hereby grent subject
Petition for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the Eollowing conditions which ere hereby Eound to be a necr.ssery prerequisite
+'. to the proposed use of the subject property in otder to preserve the safety end general aelfare of the Citizens of the

~ 1. That subject property shall be developed s~bstantially in accordance with plans and
ti`' specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No. 1.

'a 2. That the areas proposed to be devoted to "Liaht Alental" patients (outlined in Exhibit
~'• No. 1) shall be for only those patients which the State Code classified as "L" patients.
