PC69-50 A RSSOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI~1 RECOMAIENDING TO TflE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 68-69-76 gE DISAPPROVED WHEREAS, the City Plr+nning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition far Re- classification from JAMES A. LIBERIO, ET AL, 1720 West La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, Califor.ni~M 92801, Ovmer of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of O,range, State of' California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein a; though set forth in full ~ ~ ; end {~ WHEREAS, the City PlanninQ Commis~ion did hold e public hearing et the City Hell in the C:ty of Aneheim on hlarch 10~ 1969~ ot 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of s~id public hearing heving been duly given es required by law and in accoed~nce with the provi~ions of the Mahelm Municipnl Code, Chopter 18.72, to hear end consider evidence for and a~~nat soid proposed nclassificrtion ~nd to inveetigete and molce findings and recommendetions in connectiosi therewith; md B'4EREAS, aaid Commission, ~ftnr due inepection, inve~tiQation, and atudy mode by itself and in its bo- half, and a(ter due con~ideration of dl evidence and reports oEEered at s~id hearing, doea find and delermine the following fects: 1, Thot the petltioner proposea ~ tecla~aificetion of the obove described propetty from the R-A~ Agricultural, Zone to the R-2, Multiple-Family Residential, Zone. 2. That General Plan Amendment No. 107 to consider the possibility of either low- medium or medium-density residential uses in the general area in which subject property is located, was denied by the City Council October 1, 1968, when two reclassification petitions for R-2-5000 zoning in this general were also considered. 3. That no land use chanyes have occurred since the previous consideration for an increase in density to warrant £avorable consideration of the proposed reclasrification at this time. 4. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and/or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community. 5. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does not properly relate to the zones and their permitted uses locally estabiished in close proximity to subject communit and to ihe zones and their permitted uses ger•~e:•ally established throughout the Y• 6.
