PC 70-150:'~ J RESOLUTION N0. ~C70-150 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF TNE CITY OF AIJAHEIM Ti-IAT GENERAL PiAN AMENDMENT N0. 121 BE APPROVED i '~~ ~ i~~ ' ~ -1 -. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by Resolution No. 66R-869, arnended and updated by Resolution No. 69R-644, showing the qeneral descriptien and extent of land uses within the City and indic,ating the prasent policies of the Council as to future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Reclassification D]o, 70-71-7, which petition has implications relating to tnose policies as expressed on said General Plan; and W1iEREAS, notice was given reaarding the consideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject pi•operty of said reclassi- fication; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on August 10, 1970, at 2:00 0'clock P.M., notice of sai.w public hearing naving been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the pro~.isions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said Amendment to the Genera; ;';an, and said propos~d Petition for Reclassification and to investigate and inake fint!i~~y.-, and recommendations in connection thexek~ith; and WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its belialf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said heariny, DOc,~ hIEREBY FIND: 1. 7hat evidence was presented at said hearing which justifies ttie City Planning Commission's recommending to the City Council a change in the present general description and extent of land uses in th? area bounded by State Co:lege Boulevard on the east, Rosewood Avenue on the north, the easterly terminus of Briarvale and Arbutus Avenues on the west, and Romneya Drive on the so~th. ~'}i [ F~ ~.{ E'. w ~ i .~~ 2.
