WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission at public hearing held on May 4,
1970 did grant Variance No. 2170, subject to conditions; and
WHEREAS, clarification tias been requested by the developer as to Condition Ido. 9
as to the intent of the Planning Commission in requiring landscaping planted or~ the
northerly boundary of the R-1 properties adjacent to subject property or on subject
property; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission in reviewing their action as set forth in the
Minutes of said public hearing did determine that it was thei.r intention that land-
scaping be required if the R-1 property ovmers desired such landscaping to screen the
south face of the 8-foot masonry wall required along the south property line of subject
property.
NOW, THEREr'~iRE, RE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does
hereby amend Condition No. 9 of Resolution No. PC70-71 granting Variance No. 2170 to
read as follows:
"That 2.2-inch, box-type specimen trees shall be pl:,nted on 20-foot
centers alona the nort}i boundary of the adjacent R-i properties, if
the adjoining property owners so desire; and that it shall be the
responsibility of the builder to determine which property owners
desire said landscaping, and letters signed by those pro~erty owners
waiving said landscaping shall be submitted to the City of Anaheim."
