That the petitioner requeats e veriance from the Aneheim Municlpal Code as follows, to establish two free-standing signs on subject property: SECTION 18.62.080(B) -~pe of siqns permitted. (Free-standing signs are not permitted in the C-0, Commercial Office, Zone; two free-standing signs proposed). 2. That there are no exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved or io the intended use ef the property th~t do not apply eenerally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zone. 3. That the requested variance is not necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a sutstantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and :enied to the property in question. 4. That the height and size of the structure is adequate to serve as its own advertising, and that wall and roof signs would be permitted by the Sign Ordinance which would suffice to direct any stranger to the building location. 5. That the petitioner has not demonstrated a need exists for the establishment of these free-standing signs, and that the ~u~lding would be a landmark in the City of Anaheim, and would therefore need no additional advertising. 6. That the granting of subject petition would be granting a privilege to the petitioner which was not enjoyed by other commercial office zoned structures.
