PC70-230 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMAiISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIhi THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2223 _ BE GRANTED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission oE the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition (or yariance from CHESTER C, KARSON, 2251 Coronet Avenue, Anahein, California 92801, Owner of certain real property situat2d in the Ci.ty of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as Lot ho. 72 of Tract No. 2659. ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City ot Anaheim on ~~ecember 28, 1970, at 2:00 .~'doc4 P.M., notice of said public hearing having b~en duly given as required ° by law and in accordance with the pro iisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18,68, to hear and consider ,s~evidenc~a [or and against said proposed varience and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connec- :; tion therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commissi~n, efter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behel(, ;• and after due consideration of all evidence and reparts offered at seid hearing, does find and dQtermine the following ' facts: 1. That the requested variance is necessary (or the preservation and enjoyment af a substantial pcopecty right ,possessed by olhec prope~ty in the some vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 4. That the requested variance will nat be materially detrimentel to thc public welfare or injurious to the prop- erty or improvements in sucfi vicinity and zone in which the property is loceted. V 1-G , ~; I ~r ~ .., ... ~ - "' -1- r. ~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that ihe Aneheim City Planning Commission does hereby grant subject Petition for Variance, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be e necessary prereguisite to the pro- posed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare oEthe Citizens of the ~ity of Anaheim. 1. That a 6-foot nasonry Wall shall be constructed along the westerly property line, and that sufFicient means, acceptable to the Building Division, shall be employed to preclude the drainage of water from sub~ect property onto the ad~oining property. 2. That sub~ect property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No. 1. 3. That Condi[ion Nos. 1 and 2, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final building and zoning inspections.
