THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2172 BE DENIED
i WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commisaion of the City af AnnhPIm did receive a verified Petition for Variance from
PACIFIC MUTUA.L L1FE INSURANCE COMPANY, Pacific A9utua1 Buiiding, Los Angeles, California
90054, Owner; HENRY REICHERT, 650 North Beach Boulevard, La Habra, California 90631,
Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though
set forth in full.

April 20, 1970, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing havin been dul
lew end ln eccorden~e with ~~ provisiorts of the Ani+heim Municlpal Code, Chepter 28.68, to hear ::nd con ider evidence for
and ageinst said p:oposed vettence and to investi¢ete end meke findings end recommendetions in connection therewith;

WNEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inapection, inveaUgetlon, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and efter due conside:etion of ell evidence and reports offered at said hearIng, does find and detecmine the following
fects:
1. That the petitioner requests e verienee from the AneheIm Municlpel Code as follows, to permit the
construction of a 60-foot high 168-square foot display area free-standing sigr~ on subject
property.

4. That no evid?r,ce was submitted that a hardsiiip existed to warrant favorable consider-
ation of the requested variance.
