WtiGF.GAS, the City Council on February 9, 1971. in Resolution No.
"1R-52 established a rnsolution of 1nte,lt subject to specifi, conditions
related to thQ Scenic Corridor ~verlay (SC) Zone which was pendi:.~? at the
~ime action took place on Reclassificatiun No. 69-70-25i and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to set for public hearing
befora tha Planning Commission and Ci~y Council cor,sideration oE amendment
to conditions pertaining to the Scenic Corridor that had been attached to
zoning ac~ions tn tho santa Ana Canyon orior to the adop~ion of the (SC)
Zone since said zona was no~v in effect on these properties; and
LVHEREAS, thE City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at
the City Hall in the City of Anaheiir~ on November 1, 1971, at 2:00 o'clock
P.M., notice of said public hear..~y having baen duly given as required by
law and in acc,rdance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code,
Chapter 18.72, to hear and consi~er evidEnce for and against said propose
amendment and to investigate and make findings and recommendati.ons in
connection the._ ith; and
WIiEREAS , said Commission, aft~r due in:~pection, investigation, and
study made by ?tself ~.nd in its behalf, and after due consideration of all
evidenee and r.epu~ts .fferec', at said hearing, cloes find and det~rmine the
followiny fact:
1. That since ~he (SC) Zone was now in effect on subject oroperty,
Condition No. 5 would no lonqer be necessary since development
of the propPrty would sti11 have to meet thz (SC) Zone require-
ments, the amc~~ded Hillside Grading Ordinance, and the amended
Subdivision Ordina.nce.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
d~es hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim deletion of
Condition N~. 5 of Resoluticn No. 71R-52, on the basis that subject property
was now covered by the Scenic Corridor Overlay (SC) Zone and development of.
the proparty would occu~~ i accorclance with said zone, tr~e Piillside Grading
Ordinance, and the Subdivision Ordinance.
