~9HEREAB, the City Council on February 9, 1971, in ResoluL-ion N~.
71R~53 eatablished a resolution of intent sub3ect ~o specific conditions
related to the Scenic Corridur Overlay (SC) Zone which was pending ut the
time action took place on Reclassification No. 70-71-25; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to set for public hearing
before the Planninq Commission and City Council. consideration of amendmenk
to condi~ions pertaini.ng to the Scenia Cor.ridor that had ueen attached to
zoning actions in tk~e Santa Ana Canyon ~rior to the adopLion of the (SC)
Zone since said zone wa~ now in e£fect on these properties; and
CVHEREAS, the Cit• Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at
the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on November 1, 1971, at 2:00 o'clock
p.M., notice of. sai: public: hearing having been duly given as required by
law and in accorda~ce with the provisions of the Anaheim Manicipal Code,
Chapter 18.72, t~ hear and consider evidence £or and against sai.c~ proposed
amendment and tc investigate and make finding;; and recommendations in
connection ther~_with; ana
WHEREAS, said Commission, aft~r due inspection, investigation, and
stixdy made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of
all evidence and xeportg offered at said hearing, does find and determine
the following tact:
1. That since the (SC) Zone was now i~i effect on subject property,
Condition No. 5 would no long~r be necessary since development
of the propert~; would still have to meet the (SC) Zone require-
ments, the amended Hillside Grading Ordinance, a.~d the amended
Subdivision Ordinance.
NO~v, TIiEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planniny Commission
does hereby recommend to the City Council of tlie City of Anaheim deletion of
Condition No, 5 of Resolution No. 71R-53, on the basis that subject property
was now c~vered by the 5cenic Corridor Overlay (oC) Zone and development of
the property would occur in accordance with said zone, the Hil.~side Grading
Ordinance, ard the Subd.ivision Ordinance.
