WHER~AS, tha City Planning Commisslon did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on March 22, 1971, at 2:C0 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hec~ring having been duly given as ~~quired
by iaw and in accordance with the provisions of the Anoheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18,68, to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed variance end to investigate and make findings and recommendations in cunnec-
tion thereavith; and
NEdEREAS, said Commissinn, after due in:;pection, investigation, and ;tudy made by itself and in its behalf,
and efter due sonsideration of all evidence and reports oE[ered at said hearing, ~'oes Eind and determine the following

2. 7'hat the petitioner rectuests e variance from the Anaheim Munic:pal Code:
SECTION 18.40.020 - Waiver of permitred uses, to permic retital of recreational
vehicles.

2. That there ere exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to rhe intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the pr~perty or class of use in t!~e same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested variance is necessary for the preservatioa and enjoyment of a substAntia.l property right
possessed by other property in the same vicin;ty and zone, and denied to the property in questior-.
4. That t~~e reyuested veriance will not be materially detrimental to the public wel[are or injurious to the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity end zone ~n which the pcopert,y is located,
5. That the petitioner stipulated that no additional gas pumping units would be
constructed on sub,ject property; that the car wash facility indicaked on Che plans would
be deleted and car washing would be oEf the premises and that thru a px•ivate agreement
the dumping of waste from the rented vehicles would be on the propertj~ of "Vacationland"
