RESOLUTION No. 71R-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF A1~AHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A COrlVEYANCE THEREOF. (JULIANNA STREET
SWEEPER DISPOSAL SITE).
t~EREAS, the city Council finds and determines that
the hereinafter described property owned by the City of Anaheim
is no longer needed for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, negotiations have proceeded between Hobbs
Trucking Company and the City of Anaheim for the purchase and
sale of said approximate 0.7041 acres of land~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the negotiated
price of $17,555.00 is fair and reasonable and it would be in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim to sell said parcel
of land to said Hobbs Trucking Company with the stipulation
that escrow be closed within 60 days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it authorize and it does hereby
authorize the sale of the following described parcel of land
for a total cash consideration of $17,555.00:
The Northerly 113.59 feet of the Easterly 300.00 feet
of that portion of the West half of the Southeast quarter
of Section 3, To"~ship 4 South, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the city of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Schaffer-Oswald
Subdivision as sho"J1n on a 2:1ap recorded in Book 7, page 41
of l'-iiscellaIleous I\ilaps, records of said Orange County; thence
West along the North line of said Subdivision, 486.26 feet
to the East line of the land conveyed to Donald R. Bates
by deed recorded October 7, 1957 in Book 4060, page 447 of
Official Records; thence North along the East line of said
land conveyed to Bates, and its Northerly prolongation
375.90 feet to a point in the Southerly line of the land
conveyed to Real Gold Citrus Products by deed recorded July
13, 1950 in Book 2041, page 189 of said Official Records;
thence Easterly along said Southerly line, 486.18 feet to
a ooint in the ~ast line of the West half of the Southeast
qu~rter of said Section 3; tnence South along the said
East line, 375.84 feet to the point of beginning.
Together with an easement for road and public utility pur-
poses over, under and across the Easterly 30 feet of the
Southerlv 262.25 feet of all that land above described, as
said reservation is described and reserved in the deed from
the City of Anaheim to OrIa !1. Hobbes et aI, recorded
October 17, 1967 in Book 8406, page 463, records of Orange
County, California.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute a grant deed of the hereinabove described parcel of
land in favor of Hobbs Trucking Company.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of January, 1971.
