WNEREAS, the City Planning Commigsion dld hold a public hearing et the City Hall in the City oE Anaheim
on May 17, 1971 at 2;00 o'clock A,M., notice oE s~id public hearing hAVing been duly given es required
by law and in accordance with the provisior,s of the Anaheim Mantcipel Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider
evidence for and ~+gain~:c said proposed veriance and to investigete end make flndings ^nd cecommendations in connec-
tion therewith; end
~YHEREAS, said Commissinn, after due inspection, investigation, and c~tudy made by itself end in its behelf,
and aEter due consideretion of all evidence end reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
~' 1, That the petitioner requests a variance [rom the Anaheim hlunicipal Code as follows:
a. SECTION 18.37.030(E-1-b) - Minimum required~parking apaces. (64 spaces re-
quired; 53 spaces proposed),
2. That the petitioner is proposing to expand the existing mote2 to 64 units with 53 park-
ing spaces.
3. Thar the petitioner submitted evidence that waiver of the required parking for this
particular facility appeared warranted.
. 4. That the petitioner stipulated that valet parking of vehicles would be provided in the
' event all parking spaces were filled and additional rooms were still available.
5, That there are exceptionel or extraordinery circumstana ; or conditions epplicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or class of use in the seme vicinity
and zone,
6. That the requested variance is necessary for the preservation a~d enjoyment of a substential property right
possessed by other propPrty in the seme vicinity end zone, and denied to the property in question.
7., That the requesied variance will no~ be rnaterially detrimental to the pub!ic welfare or injurious to the p:,,p-
erty or improvemen':s in ::uch vicinity and zone in which the property is located,

1. That the aidewalka and driveways shall be repaired along Weal• Street as required by the
City Engineer and ~.n ccordance with al•andard p~ans and apecificatione on £ile in the off'•c~
~ of the City ~ngineer,
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file
~ with Ctie office of the Director of Public Works.
{ 3. That fire hydrants ahall be inatalled ~s requtred and determi.ned ro be neceseary by the
g Chief of the Fire Department,
4, That all air-conditioning facilities stiell be properly ahielded from view.

~ specificationa on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit No. 1, Revision Nn, 1: and

i'~. allow a minimum vertical clearance of 14 feek, and adequate turn-arounds, aaceptable to the
