R'HEREAS, the City P!anning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a veriEied Petition (or Verience

on Auguat 21, 1972, at 2:00 o'clock P.h1., notice of seid public hearing having been duly given es required
by lew and in ar.cordnnce with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst seid proposed veriance nnd to investigete end make findings and recommendntians in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, snid Commissi~n, efter due inspection, investigetion, and study made by itselE end ln its behel[,
and after due consideration oE ell evidence end reports offered at seid hearing, does Eind and determine the following

!. Thet the petitioner reauests variances from the Aneheim Municipal Code as follows:
(a) SECTIO~t 18.28.050(5-b) - Maximum buildin~ height within 150 feet of an R•A Zone.
(One-storv required; two atoriea proposed)
(b) SECTION :8.28.050(7-a) - Minimum distance between buildinqa, (28 feet required;
20 feet proposed)
2. That the petitioner proQoaes development of a two story, 134-unit multiale-family com-
plex on subject property.
3. That the R-A zoned properties within 150 feet of the proposed two-atory buildings are
large parcels designated ctt the General Plan as being appropriate for multiple Eamily develop-
men[.
