I! RESOLUTION OF THE C1TY PLANNING COMMfISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECONMENDING TO THE CITY COUYCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR REGLASSIFICATION NO. ~2'~3-23 BE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of !he City of Anaheim did initiate a Petition for Reclassi-
fication on property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as The East 431 feet of that portion of the south half of the Northeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 18, Townahip 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page lOr Miscellsne~ue Maps~ records
of said Orange Cour.ty, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of s~id
South half, and running thence [~esterly along the North line of said South h31f, 1320.31
feet, more oY less, to the w'est line of said South half; thence Southerly along said West
line, 206.59 feet, r~ore or less, to the North lin~ of TrACt No. 2295, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in book 62, pages 7 and 8, Miacellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County; thence Easterly ~long said North line and the Easterly extension thereof_, 1320.31
feet, more or less, to the East line of said South half; thence Northerly, along said East
line, 206.59 feet, more or lects to the point of beginning

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on
September 18, 1972, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seid public hearing heving been duly given as requiced by
law and in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear and consider evidence
for end against seid proposed reclassiFicetion end to investigate end meke findings end cacommendations in connection
thecewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, eEter due inspection, investigation, end study made by itselE and in its behelf, end
efter due consideration of all evidence end reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the Eollowing facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclassification of the ebove described property Erom the County of Orange
100-C-1 10,000 Commerciel District to the CiCy of Anaheim R-A, AGRICULTURAL, ZONE.
2. That the proposed reclassification establishea City of Anaheim interim zoning on
the property recent~.y annexed under Brookhurat Annexation No. 2 until such time ae condi-
tions in the approval o£ C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL, ZONE under Reclassi£ication No. 72-73-6
are completed,
3. Thet the proposed reclessification of subject property is necessery and/or de~ireble forthe orderly and pro-
per development oE the community.
4. That the proposed reclessificetion of subject property does properly relate to the zones and their permitted
uses locelly esteblished in closa proximity to subject property and to the zones end their permitted uses generelly estab-
lished throughout the community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE I,T'RESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Plenning Commission daes hereby recommend
to the City Council oE the City oE Anaheim thet subject Petitlon for Rnclassificefioa be epproved end, by eo doing,
that Title 1&Zoning oE the Aneheim MunicIpe! Code be emended to exclude the above described property from the
County of Orang~: 100 C-1 10,000 District and ta incorporate said described property into
the City of Anaheim R-A, AGRICULTURAL, ZONE uncondLtionally.
