PC72-257 ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY Or^ ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL ZMPACT REPORT N0. 3 WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that the City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Stater~ent identifying and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, in connection with a petition for Conditional Use Permit No. 1347 has received Environmental impact Report No. 3 from the staff of the City of Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmental impacts as contained in Section 21100 of the Public Resources Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made by itself and in its behalf, has reviewed the subject Environmental Zmpact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental effects of the proposal contained therein and does find and determine the follawing facts: 1. That Environmental Impact Report No. 3 pertains only to the area considered uzder Conditional Use Permit No. 1347 and does not apply to the entire 4200± acre Anaheim Hills property. 2. That the devEloper shall submit in written form for City Council cor.sideration data delineating the specific locations of the school sites that are intended to serve this area, since the developer indicated that site selection has already been discussed with the Orange Unified School District. 3. That the statements made by the developer at the Planning Commission publi.c meeting relative to secondary vehicular circulation, public utilities, recreation facilities (includ- ing bic.ycle lanes for bicycles or electric carts which may rednce the air pollution through non-use of automobiles to transport people to nearby areas), tyFe of landscaping for slope areas to preven± erosion, and techniques to be used in grading of the slopes shall be submitted in written form to the City Council as an addendum explaining topi,cs that were not adequately discussed in the Environmental Zmpact Report. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Plannin.g Commissinn of the City of Anatieim does hereby accept Environmental Impact Report No. 3, as amended,. and recommends.that said report be a3opted as the Environmer.tal Impact Statement of the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
