A RESOLUTION QF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCZL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 40
WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that the
City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifying
and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of
projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, in
connecticn with a petition for Conditional Use ~ermit Na. 1343, has
re::eived Environmental Impact Report No. 40 from the staff of the Ci.ty
o~ Anaheim containing details for consideraticn oE environmental impacts
;is contained in Section 21100 0£ the Public Resources Code; and
WHEREAS, said Coinmission, after due investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, has reviewed the subject Environ,nental
Impact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental
eff•ects of the proposal contained therein and does ~ind and de~ermine
the following facts:
1. That although the Environmental Impact Report does not conform
to the guidelines established by the City of Anaheim, because
of the size and location o£ the proper.ty, and the nature of
the proposed development, the impact of the proposed project
up~n the environment would be "trivial" and there would be no
need for an Environmental Impa~t Statement.
NOW, THEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission
of the City of Anaheim does hereby raceive Environmental Impact Report
No. 40 and recommends to the City Council that due to the "trivial"
impact of the propose.: ,:~velopment upon the environment there is no
need to make an EnvironmenL?1 Tmpact Statement.
