A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNZNG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPOF2T i30. 26
WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that the
City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifying
and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of
projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
in connection with a petition for Variance No. 2443 has received
Environmental Impact Report No. 26 from the staff of the City of
Anaheim containing details for consideration of envizonmental impacts
as contained in Section 'L1100 of the Public Resources Code; and
WHEREAS, said Cammission, after due investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf., has reviewed the subject Environmental
Zmpact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental
effects of the proposal contained thereir and does find and determine
the following:
l. That due to the nature of the r.equest made under Variance
No. 2443~ the impact upon the environment would ~e "trivial",
and there would be no need to make an Environmental Impact
Statement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planniny Commission
of the City of Anaheim does hereby receive Environmental Impact Report
No. 26 and recommends to the City Council that due to the "trivial"
impact of the request upon the environment there is no need to make an
Environmental Impact Statement.
