PC 72-274~ RESOLUTION NO. PC72-274 r ~ k I~ESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMZSSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF. CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT N0. 29 WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that the City of Anaheim prepare an ynvlronmental Impact Statement identifying and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, in conr.ection with a petition for Variance No. 2446, has received Environmental Impact Report No. 29 from the staff of the City of Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmenta'1 impacts as contai.ned in Section 21100 of the Public Resources Code; and i~HEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made by itself and in its behalf, has reviewed the subject Environmental Impact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental effects of the propoeal contained therein and do~s find and determine the following: 1. That due to the nature of the request made under Variance No. 2446, the impact'upon the environment would be "trivial", and there would be no n~ed to make an Environmental Impact Statement. NCW, THEREFORE, IIE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim does hereby receive Environmental Zmpact Report No. 25 and recommends to the City Council that due to the "trivial" impact of the request upon the environment there is no need tc make an ~nvironmental Impact Statement.
