Z447 BE GRAN,TED WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim dia receive a verified Petition for Verience from SHELL OIL COMPANY, Post Office Box 4090, Anaheim, Californta 92803, Owner of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, des- cribed as The South 203.00 feet of thnt portion of block "G" of the Kraemer Tract., as per map r2corded in book l2 pagea 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the county recorder of Los Angelea County, California, descriUed as follows: Beginning ar. a point on the North line of oaid block "G", South 87° 19' 00" ~ast 1867.40 feet from a stone at the northwest corner of said block "G"; thence South 87° 19' 00" East 811.00 feet; thence South 7° 19' 00" East 955.00 feet t~ the South boundary of said block "G" thence South 73° 11' 37" West 811.00 feet; thence North 7° 16' 14" West 1227.00 feet to the point of begin- ning. (S feet re- quired; 4 feet, 10 inches pro~+osed) 2. Th2t the petitioner is proposing to erect a"sel~-aerve" sign in addition to an exist- ing free-standing sign. 3, Thet there are exceptionol or extraordinery citcumstances or conditions applicable to [he property involved or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or cless of use in the same vicinity end zone. IF, Thot the requested veriance is necessery for t}ie preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed by other property in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 5, That the requested variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welEare or injurious to the prop- erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is loceted. 1-G -1- ~ ~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby grant subject Petition for Variance, upon U~e follo:ving souditians which are heceby found to be e necessary prerequisite to the pro- posed use of the subject property in order to preserve the sefety and generel welfece oEthe Citizens of the City of Anaheim: (1) That the owner(s) of subject property shail pay to the City of Anaheim the aum of 15 cents per front foot along Kraemer Boulevard for tree planting purposea. (2) That street lighting facilities along Kraemer Bou~evard shall be inatalled ae re- quired by the Director of Public Utilities and in accordance with star.dard p.lans and specifi~ cations on file in the office of the Director of Public Utilities; and that a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim ahall be posted with the City to guar.antee the installation of the above mentioned requi.rements. (3) That Condieion Nos. 1 and 2, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the commencement of the activity authorized under this resolution, or prior to the time that the bsilding permit is issued, or within a period of one year from date hereof, whichever occc;.s first, or such further time as the Planning Cammisaion may grant. (4) That adeauate clearance af existing electrical lines shall be provided as required by the Electrical ~ivision, Department of Publ~c Utilities, and the State of California G.O. 95.
