PC72-289 ~, ~~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF TFiE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 27 WHEREAS, the Califorr.ia Public Resources Code requires that the City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifying and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, in connection with a petition for Variance No. 2376 and Abandonment 75-SA, has received Environmental Impact Report No. 17 from the staff of the City of Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmental i~.ipacts as contained in Section 21100 of the Pablic Resources Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made by itself and in its behalf, has reviewed the subject Environmental Impact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental effects of the proposal contained therein and does find and determine the following: 1. That due to the nature o£ the request made under Variance No. 2376 and Abandonment. 75-SA, the impact upon the environ- ment would be "trivial" and insignifiaant, and there would be no need to make an Environmental Impact Statement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim does hereby receive Environmental Impact Report No. 17 and recommends to the City Council that due to the "trivial" and insignificant impact of the request upon the environment, there is no need to make an Environmental Impact Statement.
