RESOLUTION NO. PC72-290
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUI3CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 18
WHEREAS, the Galifornia Public Resources Code requires that the
City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifying
and analyzing in detail the significant envizonmental effects of
projects proposed to be aonstructed in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the Cit~~ of Anaheim, in
connection with a petition for Reclassification No. 71-72-53, has
received Environmental Impact Report I4o. 18 from the staff of ~he City
of Anaheim containing details for consideratian of environmental ,impacts
aa contained in Section 21100 0£ the Public Resources Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, has reviewed the subject Environmental
Tmpact Report a~d analyzed in detail the significant environmental
effects of the proposal contained therein and does fin'd and determine
the following:
1. That Environmental impact Report No. 18 did not reflect the.
possible adverse effects that might xesult £rom the develop-
ment as proposed under Reclassification No. 71-72-53, and
the developer was requested to submit an addendum in written
form to the City Council the manner in which natu:al resources
will be affected and the mitigating measures that will be
taken to protect these natural resources.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of
the City of Anaheim does hereby, accept Environmental Impact Report No.
18 and recommends to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it be
their statement only after the developer submits an addendum covering
the manner in which natural resources will be afferted and the mitigat-
ing measure; that will be taken to protect these natural resources.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 22nd day
of November, 1972.
