PC72-291 'R:,OLUTION OF 7'IiE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ~~.•~tIf;IM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ;~u,11IL'iM APPRO'JAL OF ENVIRONMSNTAL IMPACT REPORT N0. 37 WHER~.3ns, the California Public Resources Code requires that the City of Ai~aneim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifying and analyzi.i~g in detail the significant eavironmer.tal effects of projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, tlie City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, in connection with a petition for Reclassification No. 72-73-1, Conditional Use Permit No. 1332, and Tentative Map of Tract No. 7929 has received Environmental Impact Report No. 37 from the staff of the City of Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmental impacts as con- tained in Section 21100 of the Public Resources Code; and «Il~R~AS, sai.d Commission, after due investigation and study inade by itself and in its behali, has reviewed the subject Environmental Impact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental effects of the propasal contained therein .and does find and determine th~ following facts: l. That Environmental Impact Report No. 37 pertains only to the area-considered under C~nditional+Use Permit No. 1332 and does not apply to the entire 4200- acre Anaheim Hills property. 2. That che developer shall submit in wxitten form for City Council consideration data delineating the specific locationa of the school sites that are intended to serve this area, since the developer indicated that site selection has alread_v been discussed with the Orange Unified School District. 3. That the statements made by the developer at the Planninq Commission public meeting rnlative to secondary vehicular circulation, public utilities, recreation facilities (includ- ing bicycle lanes for bicycles or electric carts which may reduce the air pollution through non-use of automobiles to tranapoet people to nearby areas), type of landscaping for slope areas to prevent ~s.rosion, and techniques to be used in grading of the.slopes shall be aubmitted in written form to the City Council as an addendum explaininq topics that were not adequately discuased in the Environmental Smpact Report. NOI9, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City ef Anaheim does hereby receive Environmental Impact Report No. 37 and recommenda that said report be not adopted as the Environ~ mental Impact Statement of the City Council of the City of Anaheim until an addendum reviewing the concerns aforementioned is aubmitted.
