A RESOLUTION OF TF1E CITY PLANNING COMMISSZON OF THE CITY OP
ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCSL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTANCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT N0. 43
WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that thc
City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifying
and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of
projects proposed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and
wHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
in connection with a petition Eor Variance No. 2448 has received
Environmental Impact Report No. 43 from the staff of the City of
Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmental impacts
as contained in Section 21100 of the Public Resources Coiie; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, has r2viewed the subject Environmental
Impact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental
effects of the proposal contained therein and does £ind and determine
the follo~~ing:
1. That due to the n~ture of the request made under Variance
No. 2448 impact upon the environment would not be significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RiSOI,VED thai the City Planning Commission
of the City of Anaheim does hereby receive Environmental Impact Report
No. 43, and recommends to the City Council that due to the insignificant
imgact of the request upon the environment, there is no need to makr: an
Environmental Impact Statement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 7th day
of December, 1972.
