WHERF.AS, the City Planning Commission of the City oE Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Re-
classification from ERN6ST DANKER, ET AL, 5132 South Ohio, Yorba Linda, California 92686,
Owr.ers: CI.~ISSIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, 12700 Knott Avenae, Garden Grove, California
92645, Agen[ of certain real property situated i.n the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein
as though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commissior. did hold e public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim
on Pebruary i, 1972at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seid public hearing heving been duly given as cequired by
law and in nccordance with the provisions of the Maheim Municipal Code, Chepter 1$.72, to hear end consider
evidence for and ngainst seid proposed reclessificetion end to investigate end make findings end recomme~~dations
in connection therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, after ~iue inspection, investigation, and study made by itself end in its be-
halE, and after due consideretiou of all evidence and reports offered et seid hearing, does find end determin~e the
following facts:
1. That the petitioner proposes u reclassification of the ebove desccibed property from the Current
Cour.ty zcnir.g to R-2-5000, One ramily Zone on Portion "A" and from the
current County zoning co C-1, General Commercia.l ~one on Portion "B".
2. That the scope of the proposed reclassification, if approved,
dces warrant ~n amendment to the General Plan at the present time.
3. 1'hat the preposed reclassification of subject property does
not properl.y relate to the zones and their permitted uses locally
established in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and
their permitted uses generally established throughout the community.
4. That the proposed reclassification of subjact property is not
necessary and,~or desirable f.or the orderly and proper develcpment of the
com~uur ity .
5. 2'hat approval of Ge~neral Plan Amencment No. 122, Exhibit C,
recommended low density resi.dential development for this proper.ty, and
that the R-2-5000 is not corisidered to be a low density residential zone.
6. Z'hat the R-2-5000 Zone was originalLy intended to be used in
areas ccnsider~d appropriatr_ for multiple family development and that
this area is not one of those areas.
7. One person re~prese:nting the Santa Ana Canyor, Improvement
