ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OL'
ANAHEZM APPROVAL OP ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT N0. 56
t~HEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that the
City of Anaheim prepar:: an Environmentai Impact Statement identifyiny
and analyzing in detail the significant environmental e£fects of
~rojects proposed to b~ cunstructed in the City of Anaheim; and
t~TIEREA5, the City Planning Commission of thc City of Anaheim,
in connection witt~ a petition for Variance No. 2452 has received
~nvironmental Impact Report No. 56 from the staff of the City of
Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmental imPacts
as contained in Section 21100 of the Public Resources Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalf, has reviewed the subject Environmental.
Inpact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental
effects of the proposal contained therein and 'does find and determine
the :ollowiug:
1. That the report does not provide for sound attenuation methods
to protect the residential uses to the east.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO:,VEA that the City Planning Commission
of the City of Anaheim does hereby accept Environmental Impact Report
No. 56, and recommends that said report not be adopted as the Environmental
Impact Statement of the City Council of the City of Anaheim until an adden-
dum has been submitted that will provide mitigating means of resolvina th=
aforementioned concern.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approve~me this 7th
