THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. Z 3 3 3 BE GRANTED
WHnREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Verience
from DONALD R. GILILLAND AD1D VERNOi] DUNHAM, 4900 East La 2alma Avenue,
Anaheim, California 92806, Owners of certain real property siLUated in the
City of Anaheim, Connty of Orange, St.ate o£ California, described as that
portion of Lot 5 as shown on a IQap filed in Book 2r Page ~9, Records o~
Surveys, Recor.ds of said Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Parcel 1 as shown on a Map thereof
filed ia Book 19, Page 26 of Parcel Maps, records of said Orange County;
thence along the westerly line of said Earcel 1, South 0° 20' 38" East
460.98 feet to the Southwest corner thereof; thence along the Westerly

on January 24, 1972 r et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearingheving been duly given es cequiced
by lew and in eccordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.68,to hear end consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed variance end to investigete end ma{;e finc~ings and recommendations i; connec-
tion therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commissinn, After due inspection, investigatlon, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and aEter due considecetion of all evidence and repods offered et said hearing, does find and de!ermine the Eollowing
facts:
1. Thet the petitioner reauests a variance [rom the Anahein Municipnl Code as follows:

4. That the :eque~ted veriance is necessery for the preservetion and enjopment of a substantial property right
possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zene, end denied to tiie property in question.
5.. That the requested verience will not be materielly detrimentel to the public welfare or injurious to the pmp-
erty or impcovements in such vicinity and zone in which the propecty is loceted.
