RESOLUTION NO. 71R- 11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
OPTION TO EXTEND A LEASE AND AUTHORIZING PAY-
MENT FOR THE TERM THEREOF.
WHEREAS, ,heretofore, on the 24th day of February,
1970, the City of Anaheim leased certain property in the vicinity
of the Convention Center with an option to renew and an . option
to purchase; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to renew said lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of
the City a written notice to A. F. Schroeder and Louise Schroeder
informing them of the intention of the City of Anaheim to exercise
its option to extend the te~ of said lease.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw a City Warrant
in the amount of $47,500 in favor of A. F. Schroeder and Louise
Schroeder for the rental under the extended term of said lease
and deliver the same to the office of the City Attorney for
transmittal.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of January , 19 71 .
