RESOLUTION NO. 7lR-9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 64R-2l4" FIXING
RATES FOR WATER SERVICE AND CONNECTIONS, AND
CHARGES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF WATER MAINS, TO
WIT: RULES AND REGULATIONS '6--WATER, SUBHEAD-
ING--SERVICE CONNECTIONS, PARAGRAPH 1, BY
CHANGING THE CHARGES FOR SERVICE CONNECTIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on March 31, 1964, adopt Resolution No. 64R-214 fixing rates
for general water service and connections, and fixing charges
for the installation of water mains for water furnished to
consumers and for all services rendered in connection therewith,
and superseding certain resolutions adopted prior to March 31,
1964; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Resolution No.
64R-214 should be amended by amending Paragraph 1 of that section
thereof entitled "Service Connections."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 64R-214 be, and the same
is hereby, amended by amending Paragraph 1 hereinafter set forth
of that section of said resolution entitled "Service Connections,"
to read as follows:
1. Service Connection and Water Meter Installation Charges
(a) For service connections and water meter installa-
tions under (c) and (d) below, all materials
shall be furnished and installed by the Water
Division.
(b) For service connections and water meter install-
ations under (e) and (f) below, the service
connection shall be furnished and installed by
the developer in accordance with Water Division
specifications. The meter box and meter shall
be furnished and installed by the Water Division.
It is intended that (e) and (f) below apply to
new subdivisions during their development where
the developer is installing the in-tract water
distribution facilities.

Inside city limits:
1 inch service with 5/8 x 3/4 inch meter $180.00
1 inch service with 1 inch meter 230.00
2 inch service with 1-1/2 inch meter 410.00
2 inch service wi"th 2 inch meter 495.00
Outside city limits:
1 inch service with 5/8 x 3/4 inch meter
same as (e) plus $ 50.00
1 inch service with 1 inch meter
same as (e) plus 50.00

2 inch service with 1-1/2 inch meter
same as (c) plus $ 75.00
2 inch service with 2 inch meter
same as (c) plus 75.00
Within subdivisions being developed inside city
limits;
I inch service with 5/8 x 3/4 inch meter $ 55.00
1 inch service with 1 inch meter 105.00
2 inch service with 1-1/2 inch meter 205.00
2 inch service with 2 inch meter 290.00
Within subdivisions being developed outside city
limits:
1 inch service with 5/8 x 3/4 inch meter
same as (e) plus $ 50.00
1 inch service with 1 inch met.er
same as (e) plus 50.00
2 inch service with 1-l/2 inch met.er
same as (e) plus 75.00
2 inch service with 2 inch meter
same as (e) plus 75.00
(g) All connections larger than two inch and any special
service including fire lines shall be made at a
charge equivalent to the cost less labor, but.
including cost and handling of materials, rental
of equipment, and miscellaneous and incidental
costs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 64R-214 be,
and the same is hereby amended by the foregoing resolution, and
tht except for such amendment herein said Resolution No. 64R-214
be, and remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of January, 1971.
