A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNIIJG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO Tt~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THE
ADOPTION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT "ALPHA" 'AS THEIR
~ENVIRONMENTAL IM?ACT STATEMENT
WHERFAS, the City Council af the City of Anaheim did adopt an amendment to the
Anaheim General Plan to include a Redevelopment Element on June 25, 1973; and
WHEREAS, in connection with Che Redevelopment Element, the City Council by
motion adopted an Endironmental Impact Statement; and
WHEREAS, Redevelopment for Redevelopment Project "Alpha" has nbw been'~initiated
and an Environmental Impact Report hae been aubmitted; and
WHEREAS, the EnviroT~mental Impact Report Review Committee has reviewed the
aubmitted Environmental Impact Report far Redevelopment Project "Alpha" and finda and
determines that the report followa the Cicy's "Guidelines to the Requiremente for an
Environmentel Impact Report", and ia comClete as an informative document.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commiasion doea
hereby recommend to the City Council that the Environmental Impact Report for th~ Redevelop-
ment Plan for Redevelopment P'roject "Alpha" be adopted ae the Council's Environmental Impact
Statement provided, however, that a detailed Environmental Impact Report be submitted for
apecific areas of development, as they develop, eince the impact of thia project would be
difficult t~ assese becauee no epecific site for redevelopment is being proposed at this
time.
